10 weeks + 6 days in counting!
A quick peek into our after-hours…
Majority of the day, I’m usually quite exhausted. I have no desire to work out or do cardio, even though I know it’s advised. I thirst for the occasional glass of wine and soft brie, but alas, to no avail. I down a glass of OJ instead, maybe a banana or granola, then I end up in my pjs, curled on the couch with the space heater at my feet. I switch on Netflix, but I end up dozing off into nappyland.
Once Jordan gets home, I’ve had 2 solid hours of nesting. And yet, I don’t feel like moving a muscle. Hibernation at it’s best. Jordan cooks a dish or two for us; feeding me as he so skillfully does. He’s been wonderful at making sure I eat homemade breakfasts and dinners. He even wakes up at 6:30am to make me a meal, even though his work day starts at 11. What a guy right?!
These lazy nights have been the majority of my first trimester. I’m feeling quite guilty that I’m not keeping active, but I know my body is allocating it’s energy resources for important, baby-creating duties.
Grow, Little Luna, grow!
