Ethan is showing an affinity for our foodie lifestyle. He doesn’t shy away from any of the five flavor profiles — sweet, sour, bitter, salty or umami. Sour food seems to be his favorite atm: yogurt, dill pickles, pickled cucumbers, limes, kiwi. Speaking of sour, he also loves Filipino food. He enjoys salmon sinigang (he’ll eat the fish, eggplant, daikon, okra and all!), bitter melon, sardines and rice, fried rice, chicken tinola, arrozcaldo, adobo salmon, afritada manok, picadillo with sayote, the list goes on!
At 14-months old, we couldn’t be more proud of his budding filipino palate.
