Over Memorial Day weekend, Jordan & I beach bummed around with a few friends and family along the perfection of the west coast. It was gorgeous weather…toasty and bright.
What I finally admitted to myself was that – I could look a lot better in a bikini / bathing suit. I’ve kinda slacked off on my weight-training routine over the spring, so a lot of the progress and healthy weight gain that I packed on over the winter completely sloughed off. I feel like a beanpole. I’m a summer stringbean. UGH. My curves are turning into…lumps. But I want fucking HUMPS!!! Why the hell can’t I look like Khloe Kardashian? How does anyone not absolutely adore her ass???
I’ve researched a few methods on healthy weight gain and I’m determined to incorporate them into my Summer-Humps Campaign. I’ve definitely got to snack more. So guess what I’ll be toting around everyday? Nuts, seeds, more nuts…almond butter, peanut butter, sweet potatoes, dark chocolate, fruit everything, cottage cheese, yogurt, bagels, smoothies, turkey sandwiches, hummus, avocados… My backpack will be a mobile pantry. I’ve gotta eat at least six times a day. On top of the delicious meals that Jordan makes me…I’ve gotta add like 2000 more calories on top of that. DAMN. WHAT THE HELL METABOLISM?!?!?
When I look at pictures of myself, I see a 14 year old. I see awkward, scrawny adolescent Charity. I seriously need to work on that.
