Our friends Ryan & Mary came over to visit about 2 months ago and we grabbed a bite to eat in our area. After our meal (at Capital Noodle in Brea), we meandered over to the Whole Foods Market next door to find some guilt-free desserts and other extras. I grabbed a few kombucha bottles (you know me…anti-dessert) and a huge bottle of Bragg’s Apple Cider Vinegar for our stash at home. Mary commented on mixing ACV with a clay mask called Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay. I headed straight to the skincare aisle where I found a huge tub of the good stuff and purchased it on the spot. I love recommendations from friends! 🙂
We headed back to our place, where I proceeded to mix the ACV with the mask, shamelessly slathering it on my face in the presence of company. It smelled pretty damn bad, Jordan wouldn’t get near me. The mask then became uncomfortably tight where I couldn’t even hold a conversation. I left it on for about 20 minutes, washed it off with warm water. My face began to get pink and started to pulsate from increased blood flow. It literally throbbed from the deep clean. It felt pretty damn good. I use it at least once a week now 🙂
In other vapid news, I had the luxury of getting eyelash extensions on a regular basis from a lady in Newport Beach; but she has since moved to Palm Springs, and I’m left sans lux lashes #firstworldproblems :(. She recommended that I use GrandeLASH – MD, an eyelash growth serum, on a daily basis, morning and night. And I’ve been using it consistently for the past month, and it feels like my lashes are coming back in! Yasssss.
