Logged into my Myspace account today…just for the heck of it. 🙂
Went through my old Myspace blog…laughing at some of my old posts, scrolling nonstop through pictures upon pictures upon pictures. I took a trip to Japan in 2007 and I documented all 9 days of it. Oh God how I <3 <3 <3 Japan.
Anyway, I decided to copy day 8 of my trip, and post it here…just to show off a day of my travels in Tokyo:
Day 8: Good food and people watching
So I’ve been in Japan for about 8 days, and I’ve barely posted any pictures of the food or people. I love exotic food, and I’m especially fond of the Japanese palette/taste. They love curry and pasta, and I’m a sucker for both. Today we had some really great pasta at a restuarant in Shinjuku, and also some curry later on in the day. Japanese also have a thing for crepes, so we had one of those too. I had one with whipped cream, bananas, chocolate syrup and strawberries. Yummmmmm!
Also did some people watching. It’s entertainment just watching the different personalities and attire around the area. From crazy Alice in Wonderland types, to manbags, there’s no shortage of experimental style here in Japan. For these pictures, we were strolling around Harajuku once again. These girls arent as adorned as the ones in Shibuya (the store clerks at the malls, or the mallrats) who are dressed from head-to-toe in dessigner and primped up mad, but you’ll get an idea of some of the varied street style.
